"We come to be in the presence of God,
so that we can be the presence of God,
in the World around us."
2019 has begun and we continue to seek to be God's people here at Hitchcock! From our worship on Sunday mornings, to our study on Acts, and through the missions of the church, we seek to continue to live out our mission in this particular time and place. Each generation must reexamine the life of the church and strive to serve God and follow Christ in new and meaningful ways. At Hitchcock, we are in the midst of that kind of discernment! You are welcome. In fact, you are needed.
The Church of Christ in every age
Beset by change but Spirit led,
Must claim and test its heritage
And keep on rising from the dead.
Then let the servant Church arise,
A caring Church that longs to be
A partner in Christ's sacrifice,
And clothed in Christ's humanity.
