"We come to be in the presence of God,
so that we can be the presence of God,
in the World around us."
This fall is the 500th Anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, which began with Martin Luther nailing the 95 thesis on the door of the Catholic Church demanding reform. In essence, at great risk to himself, he spoke truth to power. He stood on his principles. Thus: “Here We Stand”: 500 years later and still here to urge reform and stand on our principles.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
