Hitchcock will once again present a Thursday noontime organ recital series during the season of Lent. The performers are all young, award winning “Rising Stars” in the field and current students of Grammy Award Winner, Paul Jacobs at the prestigious Juilliard School in NYC. The recitals will be followed by a light lunch served in the Lower Children’s House. All recitals are FREE and open to the public. A free-will donation is always appreciated. The recitals are made possible through the generosity of the Marguerite Manley Memorial Organ Recital Fund.
No reservations required. The church is handicapped accessible.

8:30 PM - Choral Prelude
A 30-minute Choral Prelude: Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi (Presented by the Chancel Choir, Kasia Barowiec and Nicole Weigelt, soloists with chamber orchestra.)
9:00 PM - Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols
A service of Scripture and song celebrating the birth of Jesus, with music by the Chancel Choir and orchestra, and with congregational singing of traditional carols.
Please join us for the 12th Annual Community Carol Sing event. Come and enjoy singing some of your favorite, well-known carols and some that are not so well-known, all accompanied by the mighty Walker organ and instruments in the comfort of the church sanctuary. Donna Elaine's Flute Choir and Handbell Choir will join us. This fun, family event will be followed by the lighting of the outdoor tree and a wonderful time of fellowship in the Lower Children's House with holiday food and drink provided by the Deacons and Hospitality Committee. There may even be a surprise guest in RED. This family event is free and all are welcome. Bring your friends and neighbors.

Meredith and Ben have been members of the Chancel Choir for over nine years. They are moving to Germany in October to continue their singing careers. Before they leave, they are presenting a concert in the Sanctuary on Sunday, Sept, 23rd at 4 PM with Ryan Kennedy at the piano. They will sing arias and duets and from the opera and light classic repertoire. This recital will be followed by a light reception. This event is free and ALL are welcome. There will be a free-will offering.
