Holy Week

Here We Stand…in the Shadow of the Cross. The journey toward the empty tomb is almost over, but there is so much for us to experience during Jesus’ final days! Let’s walk this lonely road together… Please take note that because of the large attendance last year, we have added a third worship service on Easter Sunday! Both the 9am and 11am services will be Traditional services with Pete Jones preaching and the Chancel Choir and orchestra!

Palm Sunday, March 25

Worship at 10:30am- We will gather outside (weather permitting) and, led by the children, march in together waving our palms and shouting Hosanna!

Maundy Thursday, March 29

Dinner at 6:30pm, Worship at 8:00pm- The ironic jubilation of Palm Sunday will give way to the Last Supper on Thursday. So, we will gather around table, just as they did and then move into a time of worship with Communion as we remember Jesus’ final moments with his disciples and his time in Gethsemane.

Good Friday, March 30

Worship at 8:00pm- This service of darkness, remembering the words of Jesus from the cross is one of the most moving services of the year. We remember with sadness, and with gratitude, the day that Jesus gave himself for the world.

Saturday, March 31

Family Paschal Festival at 10:00am- On Saturday, as the tomb remains full, we will turn our attention to the children of the church, and they will hear the story in the best possible way, through play and experience. Bring the kids for crafts, games, and (of course) the annual Easter Egg hunt!

Sunday, April 1- Easter Sunday

Sunrise Service at 7:00am on the Patio- Christ is Risen! Come and join in this unique service as we celebrate Easter with the rising of the sun!

Easter Festive Worship Services at
9:00am & 11:00am

This year, we are adding a second service and they will both be led by our spectacular choir and orchestra, with the Easter Sermon by Pete Jones. Come for either time (or both!), and have the Hitchcock Easter experience!
