The Sunday Seminars

In keeping with our mission of outreach, this new program is designed to be a series of dinners with speakers, open to the community at large and focusing on topics of critical and immediate importance to the world we know. The first dinner, on November 2017, brought us an update on DACA and its impact on both the human and legal levels.

On January 28, 2018 our speaker will be Eric Olson, VP of Intelligence Operations at Looking Glass, on Cyber Security at the micro- and macro-level. He was a contributing author to the Cyber Attack Survival Manual.

On March 18, 2018, our speaker will be Cynthia Ropes Rosenzweig, Senior Research Scientist at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, where she heads the Climate Impacts Group. She is Co-Chair of the New York City Panel on Climate Change (NPCC), a body of experts convened by the mayor to advise the city on adaptation for its critical infrastructure.

Cost is $15 per person; dinner & program begin at 6:00 pm in the Lower Children's House.

All are welcome…
